The Bombala & District Chamber of Commerce and the Delegate Progress Association held a ‘Candidate Speak Out’ on Sunday 28 November that started at 5.00pm in the carpark of the Community Centre in Bombala.
Because of COVID the meeting was held outside as you can see from the picture of the event.
Candidates were given 2 minutes each and then a minute in the second round to answer questions posed from the community.
Several candidates were able to remote in via Zoom and attend and the event was live streamed to Facebook for those who wanted to attend from remote.
Fortunately the weather was great and the event was well attended.
Remote candidates were shown on the big screen TV to the audience gathered in the carpark.
There were a bunch of technical challenges to holding the event – with specific apologies to Olivier Kapetanakos who’s voice got lost in the recording due to an issue with the technology.
You can see the recording of the proceedings on Facebook as per below:
Thank you to the Bombala Chamber of Commerce and the Delegate Progress Association for making the event happen and being flexible about access from remote given the on going challenges of COVID.
